Another nice report on the Net-Zero home by TV 25

Net-Zero Energy Home ribbon cutting
Cobblestone Homes wants to thank everyone that made the Net-Zero energy home a reality. We had a great turnout of over 200 people. Melissa and Mark Wahl shared some excellent insights to what it takes to build zero-energy homes.
Dow's President of Building and Construction Pierre Brondeau also talked about what the future holds for homeowners and builders. And the need for more builders like Cobblestone to get onboard.
But the most exciting thing was being able to let people tour a net-zero energy home today. The future is clearly here today.
WJRT - TV12 came out to the Zero Energy Home and did a nice report. The segment shows off a variety of energy saving features including Dow's Powerhouse Solar Shingles. More information on our Zero Energy Home can be found here. Also Dow has a website highlighting Zero Energy Homes.
Spring Parade of Homes
We have some amazing homes to show the Tri-Cities area during the spring Parade of Homes.
If you really want to see the future then check out the first Zero Energy Home. Never in the history of the Tri-Cities has there been a home built that produces more energy than it consumes. This state of the art home is about information, innovation and inspiration – showcasing tomorrow's technologies today.
The second home on parade is just down the street and is a certified Healthy House. It carries Green Built certifications.
The last home on tour is a beautiful French-country inspired custom home in Midland. Lots of great kitchen features including maple cabinets, granite countertops, a stone chimney hood and inlaid tile on the floor. Don't miss this one.
