How it works Using the latest technology and state-of-the-art materials, we will build a home you’ll be comfortable in all year long, with lower heating and cooling bills, too. Our program is based on a strict set of energy-efficiency building guidelines to determine what the typical energy costs will be in your new home, in a typical weather year, based on local utilities.
This guarantee applies to heating and cooling bills only, as we have no control over how many appliances/electronics/computers, etc., you use in your home. We will guarantee that your heating and cooling costs will not exceed a pre-determined Guaranteed Usage in any one-year period, or you will be reimbursed 100 percent of the cost difference.
