is the agreement that details the location, design specifications,
and price of your new Cobblestone home.
Financing –
We
have a close relationship with several leading financial institutions
who offer a variety of innovative financing programs or you may
opt to arrange for your own financing.
Review
and Approval of Your New Home –
This
involves meeting with you to review your home one more time prior
to obtaining construction permits. At this time you will also
receive Cobblestone Homes’ Guide to Homeownership, a comprehensive
homeowner manual, that will walk you through the building process
and provide you with invaluable information regarding your new
home.
Construction
Permits –
Permits
are applied for and attained from the proper municipalities.
Pre-construction
Meeting –
At
this meeting we will review your selections and discuss the processes
involved in having your new home built.
Pre-Drywall/Frame
Tour –
This
is a personalized tour of your new home at the framing stage –
we want to show you the structural integrity of your home as well
as verify that your wishes in terms of electrical services are
in the correct locations.
Construction
Update –
This
update provides you with an analysis of how your new home is progressing
and projects a future closing date.
Private
Third-Party Home Inspectors –
Two
separate third-party inspectors are hired by our company to ensure
that our homes meet the standards we have set. One inspector evaluates
the structural integrity of the home as well as the quality of
the interior construction; the other inspector evaluates and measures
the energy efficiency of the home.
Homeowner
Orientation –
Cobblestone
Homes is thrilled to provide you with a personalized tour of your
finished home. During this tour you are introduced to how your
new home operates as a system. Care and maintenance items are
also discussed and presented in your Cobblestone Homes’
Guide to Homeownership.
Closing
–
On
the day of closing you will receive the keys to your new lifestyle!
